The Rave (VR game)
Two terracotta cylinders dating back to c. 2125 BC describe how a Sumerian king named Gudea built a temple for the god Ningirsu after a dream where he was instructed to do so. In a similar later event, I woke up having dreamt a VR game, where underworld residents party for 666 nights to celebrate the upcoming apocalypse. And so the Rave came to be.
The Rave is an interactive art experience, or a game, if you prefer, where the user carries out seemingly nonsensical tasks to progress from one night to the next. The mood in the rave escalates as the nights pass, until ending in the final moments before the end of the world.
